Martin Brothers Wine & Spirits Celebrates 30 Years on The Upper West Side, Manhattan, New York

On September 26thMartin Brothers Wine & Spirits celebrated their 30th anniversary with music, appetizers, paella, and of course, a sampling of fine wines. Family owned and operated since 1985, Martin Brothers Wine & Spirits has been providing New Yorkers with an extensive selection of red wine, white wine, and scotch. In fact, the shop is renowned for carrying the largest selection of single malt scotch on the Upper West Side.

Founders Orlirio and Roberto Martin opened their first business, a specialty market called Las Antillas, in 1970. Las Antillas was dedicated to bringing the finest Latin ingredients, including those from the Martins’ native Cuba, to New York. As the business grew over the course of 15 years, the Martin brothers set their sights on a new venture—transforming their successful culinary market into a wine and spirits mainstay. Although the Martin brothers’ inventory changed, their commitment to providing their customers with excellent products and service has stayed the same for decades.

Orlirio’s daughter, Elizabeth, was named CEO of Martin Brothers Wine & Spirits in 2012. A successful pharmaceuticals sales representative, Elizabeth Martin has kept her father and uncle’s American dream alive by maintaining their standard of excellence. She has since graduated from the International Wine Center and Sommelier Society of America, further cementing Martin Brothers Wine & Spirits reputation as an expertly run business.

Today, Martin Brothers Wine & Spirits proudly stocks all types of wine from around the world. Whatever your taste preferences and budget are, the shop’s friendly and knowledgeable staff will be able to help you select the perfect bottle for every occasion. If spirits are more your style, you can count on this shop to have it in stock. Choose from a wide variety of gins, tequilas, vodkas, and much more. When it comes to single malt scotch, the selection at Martin Brothers Wine & Spirits can’t be beat.
