What is your most memorable NYC moment?
My most memorable New York City moment is walking home after work on 34th Street and 8th Avenue. As I was waiting for the light to turn green, a guy walked up to me and asked if I was the same person who was in the hospitality program at Florida International University 16 years ago. It was unreal and absolutely amazing to see what can show up when you open yourself up.
What is your favorite Manhattan neighborhood? Why?
Central Park is just beautiful. In the summertime, I spent a day walking through the park with friends and experiencing what the park offers. I had so much fun people and dog watching.
My second favorite neighborhood is the West Village. The are is quaint with a European feel that is so inviting. I love restaurant hopping and walking into cozy shops in NYC. My most favorite thing is taking my camera and taking pictures of regular New York City moments, places, people and animals.
Why did you choose to pursue a career as a New York real esate professional? What is your favorite part of the job?
I think it is a natural fit for where I am in life right now. Finding the perfect home in New York City can be challenging and overwhelming and having gone through the trenches of finding the perfect place for myself, I know exactly how valuable a realtor can be in making the transition fun and effortless. I enjoy helping people get what they want in life, and there is nothing more gratifying than being their partner in one of the most important decisions in their life. I want to sell something that makes a huge impact on a person.
I love New York City and all it has to offer: the cosmopolitan vibe of the city and the people, the events, the diverse food, the art and architecture of the city. Real estate is the perfect avenue to make a difference in NYC.
My favorite part of the job is getting to know my clients, forming a relationship and then finding the perfect home for them.
What is your greatest motivator?
My biggest motivator is to keep stretching, challenging myself and growing. I am very curious and inquisitive. This has been a theme in my life, from living in different countries to working in different industries and learning new skills. My curiosity and internal drive keeps me raising my personal bar.
What are your greatest passions?
My greatest passions are my family and friends, getting to know new people and cultures, playing with dogs, dogs and more dogs. I am a total foodie, and absolutely love trying out new cuisines.
I also love to empower women and young girls and create opportunities for them.
For fun, I love to read, watch movies, take classes and keep learning, spend time with my friends, play around with photography, swim, ice skate and now Bikram yoga. Never a dull moment in NYC.
If you could invite anyone to a dinner party, whom would you invite?
I would invite Richard Branson. His courage, imagination, fun spirit and sense of daring are very inspirational. I would love to meet him.
If you had only one day left in NYC, how would you spend it?
I would walk around the city and see what opened up. I would go to my favorite restaurants with my favorite people and celebrate my last day.
