The Accountable Care Act contains tax provisions that affect employers, with the size of the workforce determining which parts of the law are relevant.  Two parts of the ACA affect applicable large employers (ALE): employer shared responsibility provisions and the employer information reporting provisions for offers of minimal essential coverage.
