Operating for over 39 years and with many accomplishments to their name, Aisen Chiryo Doin wouldn’t exist without Sensei Fumihiko Indei. Over the years, he’s helped clients work through ailments such as insomnia, pain, and stress, changing many lives for the better. The shiatsu technique itself is gentle, non-invasive, and incredibly effective. Having been described by the founder as being “like a mother’s love,” shiatsu massage therapy is just as much an art as it is a science. It’s an art that Sensei Indei has mastered and currently teaches to aspiring massage therapists.

Sensei Fumihiko Indei began his shiatsu studies in Tokyo at Namikoshi Gakuen (Japan Shiatsu College). Studying with the founders of the traditional Namikoshi Shiatsu massage therapy technique themselves, he learned the art of stimulating the body’s own self-healing capabilities by using gentle finger and thumb pressure to restore energy balance in the body.

Years Of Experience

After graduating from the famed Japanese college, Sensei Fumihiko Indei stayed there for five more years as a shiatsu instructor. Throughout this time, he also traveled the world with Sensei Toru Namikoshi, the son of the college’s founder. It was during these seminal years that Sensei Indei learned what he needed to be able to bring his practice to the islands of Hawaii. He founded his own practice in 1977, after which time he began treating numerous patients, including some notable politicians and celebrities. After years of outstanding work, Sensei Indei was proud to receive a “Best of Hawaii” award.
