What is your most memorable NYC moment?
Taking my first bow on Broadway, having friends visit me in my dressing room backstage after the show, then walking home to my apartment in The Village. That moment was a total fulfillment of my childhood dream!
What is your favorite Manhattan neighborhood?
The West Village. It truly feels like a small village within the city. It feels like a secret. You can walk down cobblestone streets, often completely alone, and envision what life was like here over 100 years ago. Two minutes later, you can be surrounded by neighbors and tourists from all over the world enjoying some of the best restaurants and shops in the city. It's a great place to raise a family. We know our neighbors, local shopkeepers and restaurateurs, walk to school, work, play dates in the parks and after-school music lessons.
Why did you choose to pursue a career as a New York real estate professional? What is your favorite part of the job?
Real estate is one of the most defining features of New York City. There are a million ways to live in this city from a TriBeCa loft, to an Upper West Side townhouse. Each choice creates a completely unique experience of life in this city. Each client presents a unique set of requirements, hopes and dreams. Being a part of shaping those dreams and making them a reality for a client is thrilling and deeply fulfilling.
What is your greatest motivator?
My daughter. Watching her live her life at the age of 8 with a deep belief that anything is possible, reminds me that it's still true for me at the age of....more than 8.
What are your greatest passions?
My family, New York City, travel and the theater.
If you could invite anyone to a dinner party, whom would you invite?
A dinner party with my father, Gregory Peck, Nikola Tesla, Mel Brooks, Myrna Loy, Billie Holiday and my friend Paul sounds like a great evening!
If you had only one day left in NYC, how would you spend it?
Walking around the city with my husband, daughter and dog eating ice cream. Let it be spring, please!
