On the heels of one of the biggest nights in music, the MTV Video Music Awards held in Brooklyn last Sunday, John Legend performed for an intimate group of his closest friends and celebrity VIPs hosted by TOWN Residential and SCENE Magazine at New York’s famed Lower East Side venue, The Box.
The Grammy award winner showcased a set of songs in homage to his forthcoming album, “Love In The Future.” This event kicked off the start of a new brand alignment between TOWN and SCENE Magazine.
"Since launching last year as part of the
Observer family, SCENE Magazine has proven to be a unique and cutting-edge Manhattan brand with a philosophy we line up with at TOWN,” said Nicole Oge, Managing Director and Senior Vice President of Marketing. “We want to maintain a forward thinking ideal within this partnership and enhance our standing as the go-to specialist in luxury homes.”
“SCENE is excited to be partnering with TOWN,” Peter Davis, Editor-in-Chief of SCENE Magazine said. “We love the idea of melding together our two worlds to benefit not only SCENE’s readership, but TOWN’s clientele. I couldn’t think of a better organization to help represent our voice. Ultimately, our readership and TOWN’s clientele are one and the same.”
Gift bags were provided to all guests, including TOWN-branded coasters imprinted with quintessential quotes about life in New York, like this one: As Simone de Beauvoir said, "There is something in the New York air that makes sleep useless."
