With Bachelors and Master degrees in biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Oklahoma State University, Dr. DeSilva attended St. George’s University School of Medicine and graduated with honors. He completed his residency training at the Yale-affiliated Norwalk Hospital in internal medicine. With a special interest in palliative care, Dr. DeSilva is also the medical director of the Constellation Hospice program. In addition to being a certified medical director from the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term care medicine; he is also a medical director for multiple skilled nursing facilities. Dr. DeSilva also serves as an assistant clinical professor of medicine at Quinnipiac University School of Medicine and has hospital affiliations with Milford Hospital and Yale Hospital Systems. He is married, has two children, and resides in Woodbridge.

Dr. Kandiah Sritharan

As a specialist in internal medicine, Dr. Sritharan has been practicing medicine in the New Haven region since 1980. Affiliated with Yale-New Haven Hospital, Saint Raphael Campus, he graduated from the University of Colombo, Faculty of Medicine, Colombo, Sri Lanka in 1962. Before coming to the United States, Dr. Sritharan was a member of the Royal College of Physicians in England.
