People v. H.R. (Irondequoit Tn. Ct., 3/17)

          Once again, through his technical knowledge of the Driving While Intoxicated laws, Mr. Corletta prevented the suspension of his client's license in People v. H.R. (Irondequoit Tn. Ct., 3/17).

          In that case, the client was charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated, with a high BAC. However, State Police failed to file the proper documents certifying the breath test results. Upon reviewing the accusatory documents, Mr. Corletta quickly noted this and cited a relevant precedent to the Court. The Court agreed and declined to suspend the client's license; thereby allowing the client the ability to continue to drive back and forth to work, and for other reasons, unrestricted. Needless to say, this proved invaluable to the client, who fully expected their license would be suspended and their ability to travel severely restricted.
