Preventing accidents in the bathroom can be resolved quite easily with some simple and inexpensive bathroom safety equipment. Here are some simple and common sense solutions for making your bathroom "accident-proof".

1. Install Grab Bars in the tub, shower and toilet areas. Be sure to consult a professional to ensure the grab bars are installed in the proper location and at the proper angle.

2. Getting up and down safely from a toilet can be easier with a Raised Toilet Seat and/or a Toilet Safety Frame (Pictured Below).

3. If you have difficulty stepping into the tub area, adding a Bathtub Transfer Bench will allow you to sit and slide over into the tub area.  You will also want to consider a Hand Held Shower Head if you will be bathing while sitting on the transfer bench in the tub. A Shower Chair can also be used in the shower or tub area to bathe while sitting down.

4. Preventing falls in a tub and shower area can easily be cured with a Rubber Bath Mat or Non-Skid Adhesive Decals placed in the tub or shower area as well as strategically placed grab bars of course.
